Yeah, the Howard thing confused me as well, especially since I knew Hughes as a director and a producer.

I hate to be a jerk and quibble though. This whole site is awesome.

Yes, this is a fun one. However, I think the Scarface one reads a bit confusingly. You might want to be clearer that Hughes is the producer (or pseudo movie studio?) especially considering directors are generally thought of as the authors of films nowadays. It kind of reads like both Hughes and Hawks are the directors (maybe they had kind of a Coen Bros. thing going on for this film; I don’t know). Did Hughes have Hawks shoot a different ending or did he do it himself or hire somebody else?

Great set this time out, though (and I hate to always be a quibbler), it drives me crazy when people use the wrong word for the past tense of “hang,” when used to describe the method of execution. It’s “hanged,” not “hung.” Paintings get hung, men get hanged. When you say a man was hung, you’re implying something VERY different.
