I believe the fictional Roderick Jaynes — pseudonym for Joel & Ethan Coen — was also nominated for an Oscar… TWICE! “He” was nominated for editing Fargo and No Country For Old Men.

I wonder if the writer of “Bedtime Story” – http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0057878/ – wich was later remade as “Dirty Rotten Scoundrels”, was thinking about this story on Brando when he wrote the screenplay.

Normally I’m not a fan of Cage and avoid his films like the plague, but I had to see Adaptation because of the writer and director. It was a damn good movie despite Cage being in it. Can’t wait to see Jonze’s take on Where The Wild Things are and there is a production with a crazy story of development hell and then talks of it being taken away from the director. Would probably make some good fodder for a future installment when the movie is due to come out…HINT HINT
