When people think about the Avs and rivals they think Avs Wings. But a lot of people don't realize the Avs and Hawks had some very memoriable games. Fans included!! - In the 96 playoffs Hawks degensemen Enrico Ciccone recieved a 10 minajor penalty( the reason slips my mind). But on his way off the ice Ciccone got into it with a fan!! If I recall he cussed at and punched the fan. - in the 98-99 season(could be wrong about that been so long and I am not Internet searching just going off memory) Joe Sakic got into a fight with Hawks player Doug Gilmour. Yes that Doug Gilmour the one Nick named Killer. I might add it was Sakic's first and only fight. And you can argue Sakic won the fight. - How can we forget about the Roy/Roenick comments. And I quote " I can't really hear what Jeremy is saying cause I have my 2 stanely cup rings plugging my ear" Probably a big misquote but I do remember Roys accent saying ear instead of ears.
